Production's cost assessment method applied to mechanical biological treatment plants

Whereas costs assessment is feasible for well-known waste treatment installations like sorting plants, incinerators or landfills, it remains unclear for mechanical-biological treatment (MBT) plants, which have been developed for few years in Europe, as it implies many combinations of various processes and consequently a wide variety in costs too. We will present a cost assessment method which will be applied to our different breakings down of MBT plants.
