INFLUENCE OF IONIC COMPOSITION ON NOM SIZE AND REMOVAL BY ULTRAFILTRATION

Natural organic matter removal by membrane filtration. UF was used to remove NOM present in surface water. Performances were determined as a function of calcium ion concentration. An aggregation mechanism is proposed to describe the NOM size evolutions in the effluent and in the treated water.
