Biosystematique du complexe Solea vulgaris du golfe du Lion (poissons, teleosteens, soleides). Genetique, morphology et etude meristique.
A study of biochemical genetics morphology demonstrates that the two subspecies Solea vulgaris typica and S. v. aegyptiaca are sympatric and sexually isolated in the Golfe du Lion. These two taxa are therefore distinct species. S. vulgaris appears relatively homogenous genetically as well as morphologically in the Atlanto-Mediterranean area; S. aegyptiac shows some morphological variations but no important genetic differentiation in the different regions of Mediterranean.
