Structure genetique de la sole (Solea vulgaris Quensel, 1806; teleosteens, soleides).

A survery of Solea vulgaris biochemical polymorphisms is presented with details of the techniques employed. The electrophoretic patterns of GPI, SOD, PGM, GPD, MDH, AAT, ES, GLO, XDH, MOD, IDH and major protein components of the skeletal muscle are described as corresponding to the products of 27 genes, 13 of which were found to be highly polymorphic. The bases and limits of the "locus per locus" interpretation of biochemical polymorphisms for which the mode of inheritance is not available yet are discussed.
