REMOVAL OF DISSOLVED AND PARTICULATE FORM OF METALS (Cu, Zn, Pb, Cd) BY AN ANAEROBIC POND SYSTEM IN MARRAKESH (MOROCCO)
Removal of heavy metal by an anaerobic pond. Using a wastewater loaded with Cu, Zn, Pb or Cd, the performances of anaerobic lagoon were found to be in a range between 10 % and 28 %. The removal was due to an adsorption on particulates and a sludge settling mechanism.
