IRRIGATION AND DRAINAGE : REHABILITATION

This Note focuses on irrigation and drainage rehabilitation issues. It provides information on the planned and actual performance of irrigation and drainage systems and explains why rehabilitation is so often needed. It briefly presents relevant environmental issues and associated terminology. Finally, the Note presents guidelines for strategic environmental assessments of irrigation and drainage projects and drainage rehabilitation projects.
