Water scarcity in the first half of the century. Even though there are limited global estimates at present at the woldwide scale. The study presents annual water availibility denieved from annual runoff integrating pathways with 0,5° by 0,5° longitude/latitude resolution globally. Use of a global geographical information system taking account municipal and industrial waste use agricultural intakes with global distribution of population and irrigated crop land area. Analysis of the regional quality deterioration and the real consumption of water resources. Future projections on both the natural and social aspects.
