COMPARISON OF DIFFERENT ADVANCED OXIDATION PROCESSES FOR PHENOL DEGRADATION

CONTRERAS S. / ESPLUGAS S. / GIMENEZ J. / et al. - ARTICLE DE PERIODIQUE - 2002
Phenol oxidation. Utilization of different oxidants alone or in association (ozone, chlorine, UV, hydrogen peroxide, catalysis) to remove phenol from aqueous solutions. Percentage of phenol removal and kinetic constant are given as a function of operating conditions: initial concentration, pH, and contact time. An estimation of cost is also proposed.
