Ultrastructure et activite de la glande salivaire de Patella safiana LMK (Mollusque, Gasteropode)
The ultrastructural study of the Patella safiana salivary gland reveals two types of cells: the dark cells containing round-shaped secretory vesicles of lamellar structure and the light cells which have homogenous and fibrous secretory granules that are star-shaped sometimes. The two types of cells have the cytological characteristics of high proteosynthetic activity cells.
