Rheological modelling and peculiar properties of some debris flows

In order to better understand the specific properties of debris flows, we look at the rheology of water-clay mixtures. A theoretical model which describes the very special characteristics observed in the water-bentonite mixtures is proposed. / Pour mieux comprendre les propiétés particulières des laves torrentielles, on s'intéresse plus spécifiquement à la rhéologie de mélanges eau-argiles. Un modèle théorique est proposé qui décrit bien les caratéristiques très spéciales observées pour les mélanges eau-bentonite.
