L'exploitation forestière en France : une interaction main-d'oeuvre-mécanisation

The growth of forest exploitation and forestry labour employed in France from 1974 to 1990 is reviewed. The development of forestry mechanization over the same period is summarized. The current situation and future prospects for forest exploitation and mechanization are considered. / La production de pins de la forêt française atteint 40 millions de m3 ; elle devrait augmenter de 2 millions de m3 par an durant les cinq prochaines années. D'importants moyens supplémentaires en hommes et matériels seront nécessaires pour récolter les volumes annoncés.
