Les heterospionidae (annélides polychète sédentaires) de méditerranée occidentale
From two series of specimens of the genus Heterospio (Polychaetous Annelids, sedentaria) collected in the western Mediterranean, the authors describe two new species : the first one (H. mediterranena sp. n.) lives in bathyal muds, the second one ( H . reducta sp. n.) inhabits the abyssal plain. The two new species are compared with the two (or three) other species previously known. These samples corroborate the recent discovery of a single specimen of this rare genus in the Mediterranean.
