Le Danger des Traitements par le Sulfate de Cuivre en Zone Conchylicole : Toxicite vis-a-vis des Oeufs et des Jeunes Larves de Crassostrea gigas.
Oyster farmers use a solution of copper sulphate to kill competitors and seaweeds on their oyster grounds. Experiments describe the influence of this product on embryos and D larvae of Crassostrea gigas. Concentrations above 25 g/l are toxic for embryos, and above 100 g/l disturb growth of more resistant D larvae. However this product is less toxic than copper chloride.
