Development of an operational tool to simulate pesticide transfer through vegetated strips: the 2D runoff part

Well-designed vegetative filter strips can be a solution to mitigate fluxes of pesticides from agricultural plots. Modeling can help in designing these structures. This work aims at providing the French decision makers with a modeling tool simple enough to operationally assist them in the implementation of such buffer zones. This poster presents the first step: the runoff part on a 2 dimensional grass strip.
