Cumacés résultats scientifiques de la campagne polymède II du N.O. "jean charcot" en mer Ionienne et en mer Egée (Avril-Mai 1972)

21 species of Cumacea have been collected during 10 dredgings in the Ionian Sea and the northern Aegean Sea. Two new species are described : Makrokylindrus aegaeus and Diastylis charcoti. The vertical distribution of the species in the Eastern Mediterranean is the same as that in the Western Mediterranean. Cumacea seem to be rare or absent at depths exceeding 4000 m.
