WATER RESOURCES MANAGEMENT IN LEBANON : INSTITUTIONAL CAPACITY AND POLICY OPTIONS

Study of water demand (domestic, industrial, irrigation) and supply to year 2030, water laws and regulations in Lebanon, a country blessed with relatively more water in comparison to its neighboring Mediterranean and Middle East countries located in arid and semi-arid zones. Water management strategies are enforced under the current institutional framework in Lebanon so as to meet future challenges in a context of shortages in the region.
