WATER POLLUTION CONTROL ISSUES IN AN INDEPENDENT UKRAINE

Serious problems of air and water pollution as well as environment contamination associated with badly controlled effluent discharge in rivers. Despite the fact that Ukraine has a good scientific and technical background for effective water quality monitoring there are failure of state environmental law enforcement inspectorates due to economic crisis.
