WASTEWATER RECLAMATION AND REUSE IN EUROPE: A MODEL-BASED POTENTIAL ESTIMATION

Modelling water reuse from wastewater in Europe. A model is presented to get an approach to quantitatively assess the potential of wastewater for reuse. It is based on the analysis of available date on water demand and treated effluent. The system shows that utilisation of treated wastewater has a significant potential especially in Mediterranean region.
