WASTEWATER COD CHARACTERIZATION : BIODEGRADABILITY OF PHYSICO-CHEMICAL FRACTIONS

COD characterization methods were applied to wastewater samples in the settleable fraction, unsettleable-coagulation fraction and unsettleable-uncoagulation fraction. Modelisation of their behaviour in activated sludge processes.The results are given. The method described may be useful for modelling of short residence time activated sludge.
