VALOR, USO Y PRECIO DEL AGUA: LA PROTECCION DE LOS RECURSOS HIDRICOS Y EL PAPEL DEL ANALISIS ECONOMICO EN LA DIRECTIVA 2000

Comments on the European Water Directive (2000). This Directive is sometimes literally incoherent what will be shameful for its own good enforcement. The priority of environmental objectives upon economic criteria's are not clearly defined and cost-return analysis rules are very confused and shamefully mixed with the principle of "the one's polluting has to pay". Moreover this principle will favour especially the most polluting big companies doing serious harm to waterbodies. The Directive forsakes the need of a proper public consultation about water and general environmental matters.
