TECHNICO-ECONOMIC FEASIBILITY OF P-RECOVERY FROM MUNICIPAL WASTEWATERS

Assessment of recovering phosphates from municipal wastewater from litterature survey and interview of experts. It is technically feasible to recover up to 75 % but only through biological nutrient removal. The recovered p-products reduce biosolid production and are used as co-combustion products in cement kilns and for agriculture spreadings as fertilizers.
