A SIMPLE SETTLING MODEL FOR BATCH ACTIVATED SLUDGE PROCESS
Modeling batch activated sludge settlement. An empirical model is proposed to predict sludge concentration profile as a function of time. Influence of different operating conditions is discussed for sludge concentration ranging between 1750 and 4630 mg SS/L. The error between calculated and experimental data were estimated between 2 and 12 %.
