SETTING-UP A CONTROL SIMULATION STRATEGY FOR A SEQUENCING BATCH REACTOR (SBR) : APPLICATION TO MUNICIPAL WASTEWATER

Simulation of sequencing batch reactor. The utilization of model is proposed to control a biological nitrification – denitrification system. Scenarios are studied on the nitrogen removal performances in terms of variable initializations and residence time for each step. Improvements are founds by these kinds of simulation.
