AS REMOVAL USING ION EXCHANGE WITH SPENT BRINE RECYCLING

Ion exchange resin to remove arsenic. A strong basic anion resin is carried out for As removal in a drinking water. The regeneration and the reutilization of the resin are especially studied. Chloride salt is used up to 20 time with a minimal effect on the As removal time. Ferric hydroxide coagulation is then used to remove As from regeneration solution.
