PROBABILISTIC MODEL OF AMMONIA AND TOXICITY STATUS FOR URBAN LAKE

Development of a probabilistic model to assess the ammonia and toxicity status for urban lake. Model based on the tributary runoff, in-lake vertical mixing, in-lake rate of nitrification, T-NH3 concentration in effluent from a wastewater-treatment plant, lake pH and lake temperature - Validation of the model with data obtained over a 6-year period (1989-94) showing its high perfomances.
