A PILOT SCALE EVALUATION OF REMOVAL OF MERCURY FROM PHARMACEUTICAL WASTEWATER USING GRANULAR ACTIVATED CARBON
This study investigates the removal of mercury ( thimerosal and Hg(II) )from a pharmaceutical wastewater using granular actived carbon.
Bench scale dynamic column tests and a pilot scale study were operated .
Experimental results were commented and a cost analysis is presented.
