PERFORMANCE OF COARSE PORE FILTRATION ACTIVATED SLUDGE SYSTEM

Activated sludge filtration. In aerated sludge tank, a coarse pore filtration was applied to separate the two phases. The objectives were to have high concentrations of activated sludge in order to get good performances of TOC and COD removal and a low level of turbidity in the outlet water. The efficiencies are presented as a function of operating conditions.
