Natural water treatments. This paper proposes a review of water and wastewater treatment processes with wetland systems, aquatic systems and lagoons. Applications for agricultural wastewater, water loading with metal ions pt pharmaceutical active compounds are presented. Land treatment systems and phytoremediation are described. Strategies to get the best operating conditions are proposed and discussed.
