Proceedings on quantification of groundwater recharge with examples on measurements and estimation using well database. Effects of urbanization on quality and monitoring of temporal changes are developed. Analytical solution and numerical evaluation of the dispersion of solutes are compared. Groundwater contamination examples are discussed with methanogenic biodegradation of wastes, lead, nitrate pesticides and effects of natural and anthropogenic factors on fluxes in agricultural soils and industrial wastes.
