HYDROGEOLOGIC ASSESSMENT OF GROUNDWATER UNDER DIRECT INFLUENCE OF SURFACE WATER

Methodology for microscopic particulate analysis (MPA) between surface waters and aquifer systems exchanges on 719 public water systems distributed. Methods and materials , maps of distribution of wells, geological conditions and karstic features are presented with possible presence of sinkholes. Mechanism of the passage of Cryptosporidium parvum from surface waters to aquifer system is discussed.
