GROUNDWATER REMEDIATION DESIGN UNDER UNCERTAINTY USING GENETIC ALGORITHMS
This work compared three GA (Genetic algorithm) optimisation approachesa basic GA, a robust GA, and a noisy GAfor solving a groundwater remediation design problem under parameter uncertainty. Both the basic GA and noisy GA have been applied to groundwater management problems in previous works. The newly developed robust GA has been successfully applied to both cases of the pump-and-treat design problem in this work.
