"GIARDIA" CYSTS AND "CRYPTOSPORIDIUM" OOCYSTS AT SEWAGE TREATMENT WORKS IN SCOTLAND, UK

Giardia cysts and cryptosporidium occysts at wastewater treatments. In a first time, Procedures of sampling and measurements of these parasites were conducted. In a second time, six sewage treatments were assessed to remove these cysts and occysts. Results are discussed and recommendation are proposed.
