Development of scale-up formulations for an anaerobic fixed film fixed bed reactor for treatment of tannery wastewater

An attempt has been made to develop scale-up equations for a fixed film fixed bed reactor system. Kinetic constants for substrate, biomass and biogas have been determined with recourse to laboratory treatability studies. This study involves the treatment of combined vegetable and chrome tan wastewater.
