BACTERIAL DYNAMICS IN THE DRINKING WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM OF BRUSSELS
Evaluating the bacterial quality of the drinking water in Brussels. Examination of the influence of water origin and water characteristics on bacterial regrowth in the distribution system; proposition of corrective solutions to an eventual bacterial regrowth problem. The surface water distributed in the Brussels's DS has a good bacterial quality in normal conditions. However, it may favor bacterial regrowth in the DS portion fed by surface or mixed waters under unfavorable conditions.
