ALTERNATIVE METHODS FOR THE ANALYSIS OF NDMA AND OTHER NITROSAMINES IN WATER

N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) has been recognized as a probable human carcinogen by drinking water regulators, and eventually other nitrosamines may also be classified as health concerns. This study was undertaken because no acceptable analytical methods were available for quantifying these compounds.
