Déphosphatation biologique. Bilan sur site à pleine échelle. Contraintes d'exploitation

Biological elimination of phosphorus uses the overaccumulation mechanism which itself requires a specific treatment schem characterized by an alternance of anaerobic and aerobic phases. Two stations in Alsace, Ribeauvillé (12,000EH) and Benfeld (16,000EH) will allow to assess the possibilities offered by a purely biological dephosphatization treatment. The set up of such a treatment in a wastewater treatment station leads to a number of constraints with respect to operation procedures, particularly with respect to recycling management, denitrification reactions and dehydratation chains. / L'élimination du phosphore par voie biologique met en oeuvre le mécanisme de suraccumulation qui nécessite un schéma de traitement particulier caractérisé par une alternance de phases anaérobie et aérobie. Deux stations situées en Alsace, Ribeauvillé (12 000EH) et Benfeld (16 000EH) vont permettre d'apprécier les possibilités offertes par un traitement purement biologique de déphosphatation. La mise en place d'un tel traitement sur une station d'épuration entraîne un certain nombre de contraintes vis-à-vis de l'exploitation, notamment, face à la gestion du recyclage, des réactions de dénitrification et des chaînes de déshydratation.
