Demo case #4 Smart meters and customers Great Torrington • United-Kingdom Key challenges In the UK demo case, we have installed smart meters in a town called great Torrington in North Devon. And the goal is to use these smart meters and the data that's collected from them to show customers their daily water use. And we plan to do this through a customer application. The real challenge for us as a company at the moment is that customers only really get their meters read twice a year. And this doesn't give them a good sense for what they're using on a daily basis for water. And it makes it quite difficult for Southwest water to engage these customers as well.
