NITRIFICATION AT LOW OXYGEN CONCENTRATION IN BIOFILM REACTOR
Behaviour of nitrification reaction was studied in a complete mixed biofilm reactor. A competition theory between ammonia and nitrite oxydizers in the biofilm under low dissolved oxygen concentration is proposed. Results of the experimental works carried out at laboratory scale are then discribed and discussed.
