EFFECTS OF OXYGEN SUPPLY METHODS ON THE PERFORMANCE OF A SEQUENCING BATCH REACTOR FOR HIGH AMMONIUM NITRIFICATION

High ammonium nitrification in sequencing batch reactor using two different oxygen supply methods : controlled and uncontrolled oxygen supply rates. Experimental results showed that oxygen supply method has significant efffects on the reactor better than the uncontrolled method because ammonium and nitrite oxydations took place simultanously. Comparison of the comportment of the two systems especially with low or high oxygen demand.
