Contribution à l'étude du cycle Marteilia refringens

Lucas, Marion - 2017
Since the last 30 years, the flat oyster Ostrea edulis has undergoes two severe epidemics due to protozoan parasites, Bonamia Ostreae and Marteilia refringens. Geentic studies resulted in selection of tolerant flat oyster to the Bonamia ostreae parasite. However similar programmes could not be realized to Marteilia refringens and the knowledge of parasitic cycle is the only possibility to limits the expansion. Studies realized on Marteilia refringens, privilege the hypothesis of one or several intermidate hosts. In the framework of this study the research of Marteilia refringes achieved on animal specie samples in claire oyster was made. The DNA of Marteilia refringens was detected by the technique of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) various species. The detection by PCR of parasite yielded in positive results with 9 species (Anguilla anguilla, Balanus improvisus, Corophium sp., Paleomon serratus, Paleomontes Varians, Tubificoïdes benedeni, Holothuries et les larves d'insectes) out of the 16 species.
