GESTION DE L’EAU EN TUNISIE
( CAS DE BIZERTE )

Le risque qu’encourt certains pays au début du XXI siècle sur le plan adéquation besoins-ressources, a poussé différents organismes internationaux à une réflexion profonde pour la mise en oeuvre d’une politique de gestion intégrée des ressources en eau.
Parmi les actions enregistrées en Tunisie, l’action menée sous l’égide de l’IME en 1994-95 avec étude du cas de la ville de Bizerte ayant permis l’introduction d’une nouvelle approche dans l’économie d’eau potable qui, par la suite, a été généralisée à toute la SONEDE.

 

The risks incurred by some countries at the begenning of the XXI Century, because of scarcity of resources, led several international institutions to make deep reflection on the implementation of a water resources integrated management policy.
Among the actions registred in Tunisia, we can mention the action under taken under the auspices of the «Institut Méditerranéen de l’Eau» during 1994-1995 with a case study consisting in the introduction of a new approach in the field of potable water economy in Bizerte City. This approach has been later generalized all over country.
